ADAMO

Origin

Latin :From ad ("near, at; towards, to") + amō ("love"). " to fall in love with "

Arabic : From ادامو / اِستِدامة ( " sustainability " ) The ability to continue a defined behavior indefinitely

Khaleeji (Arabic: خليجي‎) refers to: Culture of Eastern Arabia, associated with the Gulf Arab states and its people. Gulf Arabic, a dialect of the Arabic language spoken in Eastern Arabia's coast of the Arabian Gulf.

Making the local global

Khaleeji culture is so rich and deep it’s not only worth preserving, it’s worth extending outwards too. We believe that while we should embrace the tactics and strategies of modern business methods, Khaleeji traditions should be honored and respected too. Furthermore, we can help local companies promote their traditional products, services and values abroad.

The world is ready for beautiful Khaleeji arts and culture.

Opportunities

Adamo has identified numerous opportunities to reveal and promote a rich culture that has been largely hidden from the world.

We aim to provide a platform to showcase authenticity within the GCC’s creative economy, while maintaining a strong focus on commercial viability and expansion at the regional and global levels.

We aim to strengthen the links between global awards programs and prominent cultural projects currently under development in the GCC, with the long-term goal of changing international perceptions of the GCC, attracting new international visitors to the region, and encouraging cultural dialogue on GCC offerings.

This will also create support mechanisms for Islamic artists based internationally, engendering a sense of pride and community.

We seek to position the GCC as a creator of cultural capital, artistic output, and entertainment products, rather than a consumer, and to transform the region into a global cultural hotspot, building a contemporary, sophisticated, and forward-thinking community.
